I learned the dynamics of small group communication in
this class. I realized that it is not as
easy as it seems to keep a small group active and connected. I think there are so many aspects of small
group communication that can be learned to improvise the overall functioning of
the group.
My favorite part of the class was the online discussion,
which kept us in contact with all the classmates and the teacher. I liked the freedom of writing and responding
to other posts because it helped me understand other’s perspective. My least favorite thing about the class was
the quiz. I somehow found the quizzes
difficult in spite of studying the chapters.
I wonder if others also found the quizzes and exams tough like me. I think seeing the attempted quiz and
understanding the questions could boost overall quiz performance. Review of the quiz after the first attempt
could help understand where I went wrong and help fix the same mistakes on the
next exams.

There are many things for small groups to learn in order to do well and be a great group. This class helped to teach me how to deal with small groups and communicating with others in them.
I as well liked the discussions which made it easier to fully understand the concepts. I also liked the projects that we did. I do think that some of the quizzes were a little challenging, but overall not to horrible. But I see where your coming from and it would have been nice to see the results of our quizzes and to know which answers we got wrong and the correct answers.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you that it is difficult to manage a small group informed and connected. Each person from a small group plays an important role within the organization. Therefore, it is important that everyone complete his or her assignments in order to give a valid report. When everyone introduces their valid report during small group meetings, everyone can move forward for future goals. The aspect of small group communication improves for each person in order to manage a successful group.
The online discussion made the chapters easier to understand. There are many examples given by students. Sharing new ideas helped me keep my blog interesting (hopefully). Hopefully the final goes well for us!
